Jesse Jackson: The Dinosaur Roams Again
The dilemma formerly known as the "Jesse Jackson problem" might be the best thing going for Obama this week. No doubt Jackson is largely considered a dinosaur of the bad old days of big government and social handouts. The days when his star shone brightest left a significant chunk of blacks trapped in the inner city, giving rise to a ghetto culture that has possibly set race relations back about 20 years. Jackson has been fiddling while South LA burned. As he continues trying to force feed us his version of America where racism is the phantom of every perceived slight against a person of color, he and his band of goofballs like Al Sharpton have turned a blind eye to the enormous epidemic of black-on-black violence. Obama may possess the audacity to tackle real problems affecting blacks today, that remains to be seen, but he has not adopted Jackson's victim whine and cheese. No wonder JJ feels threatened by BO.
